So far, the IPL has provided everything the fans, advertisers and stakeholders have wanted from the tournament. The stadiums have seen seats packed to full capacity for almost all the matches, irrespective of the ticket prices. This is due to the competitiveness of the league, with the teams stacked up with quality T20 players in their squad. Along with top international players, the rise of Indian players have always been a huge talking point in the cash-rich league.

The Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings headed by Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni are still the most popular franchises in the tournament. Although the performances were not satisfactory enough by both teams in 2022, they have started well and their fans are expecting nothing short of a title this season. Also, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, a popular team due to Virat Kohli, will look to go a few steps further and finally win their maiden IPL title.

Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals, who faced off in the final in 2022 are going strong in the IPL 2023 as well, and would look to continue the same form. RR will certainly give it their all to win their first title after 2008.

It will be interesting to witness as the IPL 2023 progresses and reaches its business end. More close matches and competitive teams are helping the tournament to reach a larger audience. The viewership has skyrocketed in the first two weeks of this edition, and is likely to increase as teams keep producing their best in the tournament.
